This 5 year old has already lost 5 teeth!!!!!

I can't believe it. She's only 5! She's got more holes in her mouth than a newborn. Ok, not that extreme. Slow down! She's my baby girl.

5 teeth, WOW! I'm going to have to take out a loan for the tooth fairy.
Carman has been very reluctant actually to give up any of her teeth. She has a stock pile of 3 in her little tooth fairy pillow.

She told me yesterday that she thought she might be ready, "Well the tooth fairy will probably give me some chocolate, a penny, and a dollar."

sounds good to me!

Mother's Day and "our" new sibling was born!

Hurray one of our friends was waiting and waiting to be a big brother and it has happened (finally, for the mother in question)

We all worked hard to create a nice book for all the Moms for Mother's Day. Each mom also received a nice collage poster of their child from Tiny Wishes. It was so fun to put them together and reminisce about all the time we have spent together and see how much everyone has grown.

Carman found a ladybug this weekend that is now living in a pickle jar. Her name is Gabriella and all the friends love to see what she is up to and peek in the jar. There is also an inch worm named Fred in the jar so that Gabriella isn't lonely. We have been very interested in bugs lately and so we decided to do an art project and make little fingerprint ladybugs. (Still in the works)

Congratulations to our friend and family that have brought us another friend to fawn over!!!!!
We can't wait to meet her.

Train rides and painting pictures!

All Aboard!!! Everyone cheers.
We love to go on adventures, even if they are only right here. We put some chairs together and presto we have a train. We pack up our bags and go on a trip to the zoo, Mexico, and Hawaii.

Zoo trip

We went on an adventure to the zoo yesterday that turned out PuRRRRR-fect. We had so much fun and although in the hours prior to departure there was a steady trickle of rain we lucked out with sun breaks and excellent weather. Hurray!

We loved seeing the elephants, sea lions, turtles, gibbons, chimpanzees, polar bears, lions, orangutans and more. I have a feeling we have another zoo trip in our future. With our crew, I think that we could go to the zoo five times and still not see all the animals.

It was so great to have the parents that could come and help, Thank you very much.

We look forward to many more trips in our future!

Someone's birthday and all the fun this past couple of weeks

This last week we celebrated another friends second birthday!!!!

I've been really excited by the friends increased creative, imaginative play lately. Creating cars, trains and airplanes out of chairs and tables. We go on trips to the beach, the zoo, and Mexico. (yes, I just got back)

I look forward to more of this play!

Well, my friends are waking up from nap so I have to make this short but hopefully this crazy weather we're having won't blow us over or hail us down.

Hurray for almost Spring!

Sunshine of any kind is exciting and being able to enjoy it with all my friends is the best.

We have had our snack outside and even lunch outside this week. We have also had some visitors twice this week. My dearest friend has moved back to Portland (Yipeee!) and so we enjoyed having lunch with her and her twins earlier this week. And today we were so excited to have Kim and her little man join us for Lunch and a treat that she brought for all the friends to share. She caught us in the middle of playing with play dough and flubber. Kim is a natural with children and they were just excited to see her as they were their friend.

As you can see in the pictures we still have to get bundled up to go outside, it's still a little chilly. Jack was helping his friend put on her hat.

Yesterday we had irish stew in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. It was delicious! (Thank you Sally)

We look forward to more nice weather and of course some rain to keep us green.
