SAD!

It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to our dear friend.

We had so much fun with you over the past 10 months. We know that you will drop by to see us and that Portland being such a small town we will probably see you at the park, but alas, we will miss you.

Another friend turns 2!

Hurray. We are so excited that another friend has turned two.

Drenched!

We got seriously soaked today. We all went outside (as we do everyday) and there was a huge puddle that had developed. This became a very WET and very entertaining puddle. Every friend got soaked and every friend laughed heartily. When it was time to go in only one friend wanted to go. Everyone else wanted to stay outside and play in the puddle. Needless to say, all shoes, socks, pants, shirts, and coats are drenched. I tried my best to soak up some of the water from the shoes and wrung out some of the water from the coats, but alas. If you are a parent picking up your child today, be forewarned.....EVERYTHING IS VERY WET!

I did take some pictures with my nice camera and when i purchase a new do-hickey for it I will post the pics.

Hopefully, when I do post the pictures, the rain will be a distant memory and the sun will be shining:)

Broken camera

Well..... one may think that my steady decline of posts would be attributed to laziness or business or a combination of both. I'd like to muster a different excuse. A broken camera. It's been broken for some time. At first it was just the screen, which would still allow one setting of picture taking but not anything else. It was hard to determine if anything was in focus until I downloaded the disks into the computer and then edited. My daughter and at other times other friends helped take some pictures which was always fun to discover. Now it seems the camera will not work at all.

I have another camera, a nice one, however, I have lost the little adapter for my computer to download the photos. Alas, no photos as of late. Do I invest in yet another point and shoot camera? (There is another story about how many of these we've been through) Or do I take less photos with my "nice camera" and buy an inexpensive attachment device to download them?

Hmmm....on another note. This blog is about friends. We have been doing so much and yet who would know it. We have become little bug, worm, and spider expeditionists...maybe not a word..???

Everyday we dig up and discover bugs and worms and other bugs and more worms. Ah the sweet life.

This 5 year old has already lost 5 teeth!!!!!

I can't believe it. She's only 5! She's got more holes in her mouth than a newborn. Ok, not that extreme. Slow down! She's my baby girl.

5 teeth, WOW! I'm going to have to take out a loan for the tooth fairy.

Carman has been very reluctant actually to give up any of her teeth. She has a stock pile of 3 in her little tooth fairy pillow.

She told me yesterday that she thought she might be ready, "Well the tooth fairy will probably give me some chocolate, a penny, and a dollar."

Mother's Day and "our" new sibling was born!

Hurray one of our friends was waiting and waiting to be a big brother and it has happened (finally, for the mother in question)

We all worked hard to create a nice book for all the Moms for Mother's Day. Each mom also received a nice collage poster of their child from Tiny Wishes. It was so fun to put them together and reminisce about all the time we have spent together and see how much everyone has grown.

Carman found a ladybug this weekend that is now living in a pickle jar. Her name is Gabriella and all the friends love to see what she is up to and peek in the jar. There is also an inch worm named Fred in the jar so that Gabriella isn't lonely. We have been very interested in bugs lately and so we decided to do an art project and make little fingerprint ladybugs. (Still in the works)

Congratulations to our friend and family that have brought us another friend to fawn over!!!!!

We can't wait to meet her.
